On November 18th, 2022, Children’s Network of Hillsborough and our Circuit 13  community stakeholders hosted a National Adoption Day celebration.

The event was well received by the community, with over 175 people in attendance. This included Mayor Jane Castor, who presented the Statewide Adoption Proclamation, and County Commissioner Gwen Myers, who presented the Hillsborough County Adoption Proclamation. The children enjoyed face painting, games, and other festive activities while they awaited  their turn in the courtroom to officially become a member of their forever families. There were 27 children adopted at the event, plus an additional 35 previously adopted children who attended and were recognized.
