Evan Brownstein is recognized as a growth leader who has helped businesses worldwide achieve next level success. He created the “Pick Enterprise, We’ll Pick You Up” brand position that drove Enterprise Rent-A-Car to become the #1 rental car company in the world. As Executive Creative Director with Momentum Worldwide, he launched the American Express Tribeca Film Festival. And, as Global Head of Marketing with Wipro, he helped start and lead a healthcare innovation hub in Tampa that created over 3,500 local jobs and developed a digital platform that serviced over 33% of the Affordable Care Act market. Evan currently serves as CEO of 8 Children, a business headquartered in Tampa with the mission to help companies and organizations optimize growth and value creation.
With his passion to create growth and opportunity in Tampa, especially for children, Evan has been of service with many organizations that have a positive impact in the community. He serves on the Advent Health Foundation board, is on the board and is the immediate past chair of The Phoenix (an organization with the mission to help people in recovery lead active sober lives), and serves on the board of Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Evan served on the Berkeley Preparatory School board of trustees, the Hillsborough Education Foundation board of trustees, and the University of Tampa board of fellows.
Evan graduated from Swarthmore College with a B.A. in English Literature and studied for his M.F.A. in Film at Columbia University.
