On Monday, April 17, CNHC hosted the Moving Forward event at our new Buschwood Park Drive location in Tampa. The event commemorated not only our change of venue, but also National Child Abuse Prevention Month and how CNHC has changed child welfare for the better in our community. CNHC’s innovative prevention approach helps Hillsborough County families move forward to a brighter future.

Thank you to everyone who came and helped us celebrate. We were honored to have several state and local government leaders in attendance, including Florida DCF Secretary Shevaun Harris, Tampa Mayor Jane Castor, State Senator Jay Collins, Tampa City Council Chairman Joseph Citro, Hillsborough County Commissioner Gwen Myers. Other esteemed guests included CNHC Board Chair Lesley “Les” Miller, Jr., CNHC Board Vice-Chair Julianne M. Holt, Board Member Ramin Kouzehkanani, and CNHC Advisor Sandra Murman.
