Children’s Network of Hillsborough Selects First Chief Financial Officer

Tampa, Fla. – Children’s Network of Hillsborough County (CNHC) has selected Christopher F. Terrigino as its first Chief Financial Officer. Terrigino will start at CNHC on July 18, 2022, shortly after CNHC begins serving as the lead child welfare agency in Hillsborough County.

“We are thrilled to have Chris join our team,” said CEO Nadereh Salim. “His wealth of experience will greatly assist CNHC and support our mission of protecting children and preserving families in Hillsborough County.”

Terrigino began his career in public accounting in 1997 and joined Rivero, Gordimer & Company in 1999. During his tenure with the firm, he has successfully served clients in diverse fields with accounting, assurance, consulting, and litigation support services. This includes many not-for-profit, child welfare, and community-based care organizations.

“He also has extensive experience assisting clients who are undergoing significant transitions, such as significant growth or management turnover,” Salim added. “This will help CNHC greatly as we launch in Hillsborough County.”

Terrigino received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and his Master of Business Administration from Saint Bonaventure University. He is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), and the North Tampa Athletic Association. Terrigino has also served as Firm Liaison to Congregation Beth Am.

CNHC is the new nonprofit community-based care lead agency for Hillsborough County. Beginning July 1, 2022, the organization will lead its network of partners to implement the child welfare system in the county, including family reunification, foster care, adoption, abuse prevention services, and many other programs.
