Charles “Chip” Fletcher

Chip Fletcher’s respected legal career includes decades of experience in helping public and private organizations navigate complex business, government, and regulatory matters.
Chip is a Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of the H. Lee Moffit Cancer Center and Research Institute, a National Cancer Institute Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. His extensive career history also includes service as the County Attorney for Hillsborough, the City Attorney for Tampa, an Adjunct Professor at the Stetson University College of Law, a Policy Analyst for the Florida House of Representatives, an attorney at multiple private law firms, and an Environmental Engineer at the EPA.
A current Ph.D. candidate in Government at USF’s School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies, Chip earned his J.D. at FSU and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering at the Florida Institute of Technology. He serves on the City of Tampa’s Ethics Commission, is Board Certified in State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice, and has earned numerous professional awards and certifications.
