On Saturday, January 14, 2023, Children’s Network of Hillsborough County (CNHC) and Florida 1.27 partnered together in a long overdue “makeover” of their 5463 West Waters location. Volunteers from Florida 1.27 worked side by side to unpack and assemble new chairs purchased by CNHC. A few of the Florida 1.27 network churches that participated included:  Grace Family Church, Idlewild Baptist Church, Radiant Church, St. John’s Episcopal Church/School, Westtown Church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and Journey Church.  Over 100 new chairs arrived on site Friday, January 13th and by 1:30 on January 14th, the new chairs were built with dedication and hard work and were ready to be used by CNHC first responders.

Brian Strawser, Executive Director of Florida 1.27, appreciated having this opportunity to partner with CNHC. “We enjoyed working together to help create a sense of newness and were grateful to pray for the staff at CNHC who sit in these chairs as they work diligently on behalf of children and families in our community,” said Strawser.
