Callin started working in the non-profit field, specifically with at-risk youth and families, while earning her bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Florida. In 2014, she started working for Eckerd Connects as a placement specialist and grew over the eight years with the organization, climbing from placement specialist to Sr. Placement Supervisor and ultimately landing in her final position with Children’s Network of Hillsborough as a Training Specialist. Over the past 15 years of service, in her various roles across the state of Florida, she has learned the importance of empowering others and of accountability not only to herself but to the community, which is something that she takes great pride in.
