WFLA’s Bloom recently hosted a segment about Foster Parent Education Day featuring Gayle Guyardo, Family Support Services Licensing and Kinship Director Katie MacElroy, Old McMicky’s Farm founder Ralph Zuckerman and CNHC’s Director of Foster Care Licensing Kymberlye Smith.

The panel discussed how Family Support Services of Pasco and Pinellas Counties, Old McMicky’s Farm, and Children’s Network of Hillsborough County are partnering to host a free Foster Parent Education Day at Old McMicky’s Farm in Odessa.

Scheduled for Saturday, October 11, the event is open to anyone curious about fostering, and it will explain who can foster, the licensing process, and the resources available.
