CNHC at the Sulphur Springs Neighborhood of Promise Block Party
Children’s Network of Hillsborough participated in the Sulphur Springs Neighborhood of Promise Block party on Saturday, August 16th. The block party was an opportunity to spend time building relationships with neighbors, building social connections, and establishing a sense of belonging in the neighborhood.
There were over 20 vendors with fun activities. The block party focused on literacy, art, and music. Performers took the stage, and loads of books, music, spoken word, drumline, poetry, cartooning, storytelling, food, and more.
Thank you, Jackie Leeks, and Kim Miller, for the inviting us as we work to establish our Neighborhood Initiative and thank you, Laurallyn, Annie and Nicole for representing CNHC!
